After a busy 2020-2021 season of talks, the Flamsteed is taking its usual summer break. Ordinarily, we have a July-August programme of solar viewing events for Flamsteed members and for members of the public. With the current challenges relating to reopening the Royal Observatory site, plus the additional difficulties of sanitising solar telescope eyepieces and focusing knobs, we are not able to give a definitive programme yet – but we’re working on it so watch this space.
