Following last year’s very popular visit, we’ve arranged a return to our own NMM Caird Library to look at some of the rare and interesting astronomy books, manuscripts, charts, and maps in the RMG collection.
The Caird Library visit will take place at the NMM on Monday April 10th starting at 3pm and lasting an hour and a half. Megan Barford, Curator of Cartography, and Louise Devoy, Curator of the ROG, will be introducing the books and maps on show, together with the help of the Caird staff.
The visit is free to Flamsteed members but booking is essential and places are limited to 25 members.
