THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
In this 90 minute workshop, we will explain how newcomers can get started in astronomy and explain the different types of telescope which are available, from basic reflectors and refractors to more advanced computer controlled telescopes. We will look at telescopes for both night-time observing and solar observing.
This workshop is open to all (members and non-members) and will be held at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. Places will need to be reserved in advance and you can book a ticket by contacting us. We will be situated in the foyer area by the entrance to the Peter Harrison Planetarium.
