Solar viewing
The Flamsteed Astronomy Society will be taking part in the Shrewsbury Park Summer Festival this year.
The event takes place on Saturday 11th June from 2pm to 5pm. All are welcome to attend. Details on how to find the park can be found here.
We plan to bring solar telescopes so that attendees can get live views of the Sun, along with other astronomical equipment if anyone wants to chat about getting involved in astronomy as a hobby.
It would be great to see some Flamsteed members in attendance.
