Following our recent successful Flamsteed Radio Astronomy special interest group meeting at the Royal Observatory, we are pleased to announce the date and venue for the next meeting.
We did indicate at the last meeting that we would be looking to change the venue to Mycenae House as this provides more flexibility in terms of choice of day and times of access. Therefore, we will be meeting at this venue on Thursday 4th February 2016 from 7pm to 9pm.
Hopefully, some of you that attended the last meeting may have experimented with one or more of the projects. It is intended to make this next meeting an interactive practical session providing both advice and assistance with those projects. It would be helpful if you could bring along some of your project equipment. If you haven’t yet had a chance to set up a project of your own, but are interested in seeing how it’s done, you are still very welcome to attend.
Mycenae House is located in Mycenae Road just off Westcombe Park Road in Blackheath, SE3. It is close to the Blackheath Standard shops and buses. There is a café selling hot drinks and snacks located on the ground floor.
