THIS EVENT IS CONFIRMED ON
The maximum of the Perseid activity is expected on 12 August 2013. You usually start seeing meteors an hour or so before midnight, with the radiant near the Double Cluster in Perseus climbing higher in the sky throughout the night. It should be a great year for the Perseids, as the Moon sets at 10.20pm on 12 August.

Cudham is near Biggin Hill in Kent and has darker skies than those found in South-East London. There is plenty of parking.
The Perseids tend to strengthen in number after midnight. We will start the session at 10pm and continue for as long as people are happy to stay.
