THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
On April 22nd we will be hosting a new ‘Introduction to Astrophotography’ Workshop, aimed at introducing you to the various subjects and techniques needed to capture the night sky and objects within.
The 90-minute Workshop will cover typical subjects and how best to capture them using various methods, including simple tripod based photography, long exposure deep sky and shooting video to capture the Sun, Moon and Planets. Tips on best practices and useful equipment will be offered, together with an introduction to the basics of image processing.
The Workshop is free to members and non-members and is intended as a guide to helping attendees get started with Astrophotography. It is also a taster for specific Astro Imaging Workshops, which will be open to Flamsteed members.
The Workshop will be held at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, in the foyer area by the entrance to the Peter Harrison Planetarium. Places must be reserved in advance. Tickets can be booked by contacting us.
