THIS EVENT IS CONFIRMED ON
WE WILL BE AT BLACKHEATH FROM 3PM FOR SOME ‘WHITE LIGHT’ SOLAR VIEWING AND THEN VIEWING VENUS AND THE MOON
We are intending to run a Blackheath “Stargazing” session on Sunday 10 November from 3pm until around 7pm. As with all observing activities, we are dependent on weather conditions, and a go/no-go message will be sent at around 1.00pm on the day of the event.
The plan is to meet on Blackheath, just north of Talbot Place, which is a right turn off Goffers Road as you head towards Shooters Hill Road. Talbot Place is a cul-de-sac. A map of the site can be found here.
No booking is needed, and all are welcome.
We will send a go/no-go message via Twitter, e-mail and text message (for subscribers), after checking the weather conditions and forecast.
Blackheath is quite exposed, so please remember to wrap up warm.
