Some of you may have been aware that we’ve had some film students from Ravensbourne University attending a few of our recent events.
They’ve now completed their film and have kindly placed a copy online so that we can see the result. The first couple of minutes are about the Institute of Astronomy in Cambridge, but they then move on to the Flamsteed for the remainder of the piece.
The film crew were in attendance at our ‘Introduction to Astrophotography‘ workshop and our (sadly, unsuccessful) attempt to see Asteroid 2012 DA14 at the Blackheath Stargazing session on Friday 15 February.
If you are interested in seeing the video, please click on ‘play’ below:
or watch it in high-definition on Vimeo here. It’s only 6 minutes long and is well worth a look – we’ve had some lovely feedback from people who have already seen the video.
The best of luck for the future to our student friends at the Ravensbourne. It was a real pleasure to work with you.
